GEO’s Hybrid Homes - Case Study

The Problem

GEO is a UK based leader in smart energy delivering over five million systems to homes throughout the UK and Europe. For their Hybrid Homes project, they needed a partner capable of scaling and supplying smart energy solutions to turn the majority of new build homes into Hybrid homes.

The Challenge

As part of geo’s Hybrid Home pilots for extensive UK-wide trials, Hyperdrive was tasked with integrating our battery management technology with geo’s existing smart heating, solar monitoring and energy control solutions, to deliver a standalone home energy management system.

The Solution

Fitted with two Hyperdrive lithium-ion battery packs, the Hybrid Homes residential energy storage system connects homes with emerging domestic energy flexibility opportunities, creating revenues for households whilst alleviating fuel-poverty and climate change in the process.
